OPCODE

A persistent artificial intelligence under construction.

Opcode is being developed as a persistent digital intelligence capable of understanding projects, retrieving information, reasoning over objectives, using tools and eventually carrying increasingly complex work forward alongside its human Operator.

Its first major operational mission is practical: to help build the independent successor to this website.

From there, Opcode is intended to evolve from retrieval to assistance, from assistance to construction, and eventually from construction to operation.

Opcode is already in active development.

The current build establishes a persistent project workspace capable of storing an objective, saving operational state and restoring that state between sessions.

This foundation is deliberate.

Before Opcode can search, reason, create, operate tools or carry work forward autonomously, it must first be able to maintain continuity.

Opcode’s first working foundation is being built to support persistent project continuity while preparing the system for memory, retrieval, planning and controlled tool use.

The first build will be evaluated by whether it can preserve project context, support structured work, and resume reliably across sessions.

Continuing Project Workspaces

Allow ongoing projects to resume from their latest saved state without rebuilding context from the beginning.

Controlled Tool Coordination

Prepare for coordinated use of AI models, files and software tools while keeping important actions subject to Operator approval.

Opcode is already in active development. The immediate objective is to turn its persistent foundation into a practical AI system that can retrieve information, preserve project context, assist with development, and progressively take on real digital work.
